Here’s Everything You Need to Know About That Timothée Chalamet Shirt You Saw at the Oscars

Though there was a ton of great fashion at this year’s Oscars — we’re looking at you, Adam Rippon — one of our favorite pieces was James Ivory’s Timothée Chalamet shirt. The custom, one-of-a-kind shirt by Andrew Mania featured the face of the Call Me By Your Name star. It’s appropriate that Ivory wore the shirt because, after all, he won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for the film.

VICE spoke to Andrew Mania about the Timothée Chalamet shirt. He said he was moved to paint the shirts after seeing the film: “The film is so beautiful, and I really wanted that shirt with faces in the final scene so much that I decided to paint my own after having no luck finding it online. Which in turn led to painting one of Elio, too.”
