Ever since Ryan Murphy announced that Season 8 of American Horror Story would be a Coven/Murder House crossover, we’ve been on the edge of our seats waiting for any news (and Stevie Nicks sightings). And now we finally have it! Earlier today, Murphy tweeted a post including a picture of seven of our favorite witches from American Horror Story: Coven, with the caption: “The Coven Returns. What a thrilling night with the legend Stevie Nicks on the set of AHS.”

The actresses in Murphy’s tweet include Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Foxx, Taissa Farmiga as Zoe Benson, Frances Conroy as Myrtle Snow, Lily Rabe as Misty Day, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Gabourey Sidibe as Queenie and Stevie Nicks playing herself.  The one key witch missing from the group is Fiona Goode played by none other than AHS royalty, Jessica Lange.

But don’t fret! It was announced during the Television Critics’ Association press tour that Lange will be returning for the upcoming season as well. It will be interesting to see not only how these lovely witches make it into the new season, but how they resurrect some of the witches who didn’t make it out of Season 3 alive.

The eighth season, aptly titled, American Horror Story: Apocalypse is set to be the most star-studded cast yet. In addition to the eight cast members mentioned above, the series will also include AHS vets Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Adina Portner, Cheyenne Jackson and Billy Eichner. You can also expect some new faces to show up by way of famed actress Joan Collins, and Unreal star Jeffery Bowyer-Chapman.

Cody Fern, who appeared in Murphy’s TV mini-series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story as David Madison, is also set to appear in the new season as Micahel Langdon, the child of Tate Langdon and Vivien Harmon, who was the product of Vivien’s rape. It is foretold that he is the Antichrist, having been conceived from a ghost impregnating a human.

Are you excited to see the entire cast of American Horror Story: Coven reuniting on screen? Who’s your favorite witch? What surprises do you think Season 8 will have in store?
